Jesslyn chats with Denise Jackson about the need to fix her mind on the things of God, such as His Word. Focusing on the bible, rather than on tv, helps us as Christians to keep our focus on the right path, of the upward call of God. When we get distracted by tv or other things in the world, its easy to get side-tracked from our priorities, and become negatively influenced by the things in this world.

Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life.
2 Corinthians 10:5 ...and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Colossians 3:1-2 Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
