ABBA I am Known

For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful,

I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you

when I was made in the secret place,

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body;

all the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them!

I know God, YHWH, created each of us! His thoughts are toward us and He longs for us to choose His love over the world’s chaos. He made our inmost being and knit our body inside our mother. We are truly fearfully and wonderfully made.

When you seek God, you will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. And when you do, you will be able to see the amazing work He created in you! You will be able to release judging yourself and be set free from the law of sin and death. You will be able to let go of condemnation from yourself and others and walk in true freedom remembering your Father made you and loves you!

For a long time I carried guilt and shame around like a heavy blanket, only showing to others what I believed they would accept. I conformed myself to be pleasing to the world but inside I hurt! Then God helped me to take the blanket off. I had gotten used to it, its heaviness, and when I finally dropped it, I felt so light. When I began to see how my Father used my story to set others free, joy took the place of heaviness.

This morning, I pray that you, too, could trust your Father’s voice! He sees all of you and He says, “Beautiful!”
