My husband and I married young, full of love but completely unaware of how much we would need to grow—not just together, but individually. I remember a season when I kept praying, Lord, change him. Make him more patient, more understanding, more of what I need. I was waiting for him to become the husband I had pictured in my mind. But God had a different plan.

And let me tell you—when we surrender our expectations and start serving with love instead of waiting with resentment, everything changes. Love deepens. Peace replaces frustration. Marriage becomes a partnership instead of a battleground.
